How Your Data Is Used
- The extension runs natively inside your browser client container to safely pull news updates.
- No search habits, scroll trajectories, or usage statistics are logged, processed, or transmitted.
Chrome Extension Permissions
- Host Permission (docs.google.com) – Securely retrieves publicly accessible news summary data from your published Google Sheets CSV url.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Personal names, contact lists, or social profiles
- Passwords or underlying authentication credentials
- Financial data, transaction balances, or card details
- Real-time or historical geolocation coordinates
- Browsing history, keystrokes, or mouse activity
Data Sharing
- We do not sell user data.
- We do not rent user data.
- We do not monetize operations through profiling channels or share bundles with third-party advertisers.
- We do not transfer user data vectors unless explicitly bound by legal statutory requirements.
Remote Content
- The extension reads news plain text blocks from your published Google Sheets url and content-matched imagery from Unsplash.
- No remote JavaScript, executable scripts, or unsafe packages are downloaded or executed at runtime.
Security
- The extension acts entirely as a stateless reading wrapper on top of your deployment asset.
- Your system remains completely isolated from potential external data leaks since no personal data is captured.
Children's Privacy
- This extension is intended for general audiences.
- We do not knowingly collect or target information from children under 13 years of age.
